For the different audio-source-bandwidths we have developed special LINGUA-versions.
The LINGUA Versions V 4, V 6, V 12:
Every LINGUA we can modify for you to the preferred version retroactively. This means: with our technology you are not and will not be on a one way street. You are absolutely flexible!
- Version V4
Audio-frequency range appr. 150 Hz … 3500 Hz: ideal for SSB-reception only.
(Former LINGUA sets without version-information are of version “V 4”) - Version V6
Audio-frequency range appr. 150 Hz … 6000 Hz. Ideal when receiving SSB and FM-stations, too. FM-signals have a higher frequency-range resulting in a better tone-quality. - Version V12
Audio-frequency range appr. 150 Hz … 12.000 Hz. For the reception of broadcasting stations transmitting with a higher audio-bandwidth.
V12 is the ideal solution for SWLs (short wave listeners).
In case that you plan to receive SSB e.g. on channel "Audio-in 1" and FM on "Audio-in 2" (two-channel mode of LINGUA) we recommend to decide to use LINGUA V 6. LINGUA V 6 is the ideal version for HAM radio.
Important information: the filtering-strength can be selected stepless in all versions (red knob)!
